The moment
Some meetings stay with you after they end.
The meeting ended twenty minutes ago and you're still in it. Replaying what you said. Recalibrating how it landed.
Here is how leaders often describe what they want when we first talk.
"I want to lead without carrying everything home with me."
"I want to feel confident in the moment, not after I replay it."
"I know what I'm supposed to do. I just can't seem to sustain it."
What changes
What leaders describe after the work.
The cohort centers on the moments that ask the most of you: the hard conversation, the decision with no clean answer, the meeting that follows you home. This is how leaders describe the shift, in their own words.
The meeting stays in the room.
"I walk out of meetings and don't carry them with me anymore."
Your read holds in real time.
"I trust myself in the moment instead of waiting for the room."
You know what is yours to hold.
"I know what's mine to carry and what's not."
The method
A method for the moment before you speak.
This is the method at the center of Connected Leadership. You practice it live each week, with Dr. Cara and your cohort, until it becomes how you lead.
Receive
Take in what the moment brings, including what it stirs in you, before you decide what it means.
Perceive
Look at what the moment is really asking before you decide how to meet it.
Respond
Regulate, then respond with a choice you can stand behind.
"The only control you have is how you receive, perceive, and respond."
Three pillars hold the work
Recognize Value
Know your worth.
Embody Grace
Know your truth.
Conquer Control
Know when to pivot.
The cohort
What the twelve weeks include.
The cohort is the live, small-group form of Dr. Cara's work. Origin Practice is self-paced; here you work through the framework in real time, with Dr. Cara facilitating and a small group of peers in the room.

From the first cohort
In a participant's words.
"Receive, perceive, respond is probably the biggest one for me, because I am a person who likes to jump to solutions right away... That technique has been awesome for me, and I use it pretty much every day, not just for work but outside of work too."
Samone DeFreese · Beta cohort participant
"I would tell them yes, it was definitely worth my time... It doesn't matter where you come from. All of the information here can be applicable to any field."

Questions
Before you enroll.
Who is the cohort for?
It is designed for senior leaders, executives, founders, healthcare system leaders and other high-capacity professionals. The work centers on what drives behavior under pressure, so it suits leaders who want more than a new set of tactics.
How is the cohort different from Origin Practice?
Both are built on the same framework. Origin Practice is self-paced. The cohort is live: twelve weekly sessions with Dr. Cara and a small group of peers, with room to bring your real situations into the work.
When does the cohort begin, and when do sessions run?
The cohort begins on [start date]. Live sessions run on [day] at [time] ET for twelve weeks. Enrollment closes on [close date].
What happens after I enroll?
You receive a confirmation with your session links and access to Dr. Cara's Virtual Mind for the 30 days before Week 1. Your Practice Deck ships before the first session.
How much time does it take?
One 90-minute live session each week for twelve weeks, with the Practice Deck and Virtual Mind to use between sessions at your own pace.
What is the investment?
$3,000 a month for three months, $9,000 in total. You can also pay in full for $8,500.
What if the cohort is the wrong fit?
The Two-Session Guarantee covers you. Take part in the first two sessions, and if the cohort is the wrong fit, you receive a full refund of Month One with no explanation required.
Enrollment is open
What do you want more of? What are you willing to do to get it?
